Marine Seismic refraction and UMASW in dynamic mode, shallow and deep investigation (Pseudo 3D)

The objective of the marine seismic campaign is to provide information about the P and S wave velocities of the local geology of a seismic area in order to estimate the liquefaction risk.
The purpose of the acquisition was to provide pseudo 3D data block and to integrate the geotechnical information available on site.
About 10 km of measurements in dynamic mode has been acquired.
Depth investigation between 40 and 50 meters.

  • Offshore seismic refraction (MSR)
  • Offshore seismic surface wave (UMASW).
  • Dynamic approach (equipment dragged on the seabed)
  • High resolution of the acquisition
  • Deep investigation of the acquisition
  • Production of a 3D data bloc of shear wave velocity variations
  • Liquefaction risk
