SismOcean - Geophysical survey - Onshore, offshore, transitional area

SismOcean is a company offering services for onshore, transitional and offshore site surveys using geophysics.

It was created in 2003 by three associates geologist and geophysicist. This company is totally independent.

We perform site surveys all over the world. We also work as Client Rep or expert on geophysical methods.

SismOcean has the necessary equipment to carry out your studies onshore our offshore geophysical surveys. The variety of equipment allows us to optimize our measurement methods to the problems and to the sites on which our teams work.

For onshore survey, the following equipment are combined and used to propose tailor made solution.

• 8 seismic recorders Geometrics GEODES (8 x 24 voies)
• MGOS Software (Geometrics)
• 180 geophones 4.5 Hz
• 100 geophones 28 Hz
• Portative positioning system
• Onshore streamers for 24 receivers from 1 to 5 meters equally spaced

For offshore survey, the equipment we have allows great adaptability depending on the configuration of the sites and your needs.

• Sled, winches, Air compressor, Air tank
• Seismic source Mini G Gun Sercel
• Marine seismic streamer with hydrophones equally spaced of 1 m, 2 m, 2.5m or 5 m and with variable frequency cut (1.5 Hz or 8 Hz).
• Acquisition software MGOS (Geometrics)
